This research requires field observations and interviews with workers using analytical descriptive methods. Data from observations and interviews are collected and used to determine actions to control potential hazards to prevent work accidents. This cooling tower pipe installation work requires standard equipment which includes a mobile crane, scaffolding, welding machine, grinding machine, drilling machine, safety shoes, helmet, glasses, long-sleeved uniform, gloves, safety body harness, chemical gas mask. Labor competency for high-altitude work must have a certificate that complies with regulations and crane operators must have a valid Operator's License. A Work Permit must be drawn up to ensure the work is safe before work begins. Production schedule optimisation in the cement industry is very important to improve efficiency and productivity. Genetic algorithm (GA) is one of the optimisation methods that can be used to solve complex production scheduling problems. This research aims to optimise the production schedule in the cement industry using genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm is implemented to produce a production schedule that minimises makespan (the completion time of all jobs) and maximises throughput (the number of products produced). Actual production data from the cement industry is used to evaluate the performance of the genetic algorithm. The results show that the genetic algorithm can generate a more optimal production schedule compared to the traditional method. Genetic algorithm can reduce makespan by 10% and increase throughput by 5%. This research shows that genetic algorithm is an effective method to optimise production schedule in cement industry. In addition to mold and mildew manufacturing, the company also manufactures support machines in increasing production at other companies in the same group. With the increasing demand in the manufacture of molds, molds, and supporting machines, it turns out that the performance of the Fanuc Robocut -c400ib CNC Wire Cut machine is still less efficient with increasing demand, so companies have to find new ones. methods to improve engine performance, one of which is the implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) which can be used to help calculate engine efficiency. In calculations, the OEE measures availability, performance, and quality. After making a study on the machine, it turned out that the CNC Wire Cut Fanuc Robocut -c400ib machine experienced high downtime, it was feared that it could slow down the production process where product demand from customers could not be completed according to the agreement. On the Fanuc Robocut -c400ib CNC Wire Cut machine the OEE value before research in December 2019 was 53.63%. Therefore, the authors focus on providing suggestions for improvements on the machine. The analysis used 4M1E, then the cause of the problem was searched with fish bones. The increase in OEE value is expected to increase the efficiency of machines that have high downtime.

Keyword : Dies, Mould, CNC Wire CutFanuc Robocut α-c400ib machine, downtime, OEE, 4M1E, fishbone.
2024-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 https://ejurnal.unival-cilegon.ac.id/index.php/sisprotek/article/view/288PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DENGAN PENDEKATAN SISTEM DINAMIS DI DESA BANJARAGUNG2024-09-04T12:15:41+00:00Fajar Hayyinfajar.hayyin@gmail.com
Abstract

Household waste management is an urgent environmental issue, especially in urban areas in Indonesia which are experiencing a significant increase in waste volume. This study aims to develop a more adaptive and efficient waste management system using a dynamic systems approach, with a focus on Banjaragung Village. This research identifies the main challenges in waste management, such as transportation delays and limited organic waste processing capacity. Data was obtained through household surveys, field observations, and interviews with stakeholders. Dynamic models are used to simulate various management scenarios, including increasing transport frequency, processing capacity, and community participation in recycling. The simulation results show a reduction in waste accumulation of up to 30%, meaning that optimization in waste transportation and processing as well as increasing community participation can reduce waste volume and increase operational efficiency. In addition, implementing environmental policies such as a ban on the use of single-use plastic also has significant potential in reducing the burden of waste management. These findings offer insights for policy makers and waste managers in designing more sustainable management strategies.

Keywords : Dynamic Systems, Waste Management, Household, Efficiency, Environment.

2024-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024
