Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of teacher competence and educational facilities on student
achievement at SMK YP Fatahillah 2 Cilegon using simple random sampling. The method used in this
study was quantitative, and the data collection technique used a questionnaire. The primary data used in
this study consisted of a sample size of 113, with only half of the sample size, namely 88 respondents. All
available data were analyzed using SPSS Version 16. The analysis techniques used were validity testing,
reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple correlation analysis, multiple linear regression
testing, coefficient of determination testing, significance testing, t-test, and F-test. The results of this study
indicate that teacher competence has a positive effect on student achievement, educational facilities have
a positive effect on student achievement, and teacher competence and educational facilities simultaneously
have a positive effect on student achievement at SMK YP Fatahillah 2 Cilegon.
