Publication Ethics

ABDI: Al-Khairiyah Digital Business Journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, guided by the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—must ensure ethical conduct throughout the publication process.

1. Duties of Authors

1.1 Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. All sources must be properly cited. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

1.2 Data Accuracy and Integrity

Authors must ensure that all data used in the manuscript are accurate, valid, and obtained ethically. Fabrication or falsification of data is unacceptable.

1.3 Authorship Criteria

Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the study should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.

1.4 Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their research.

1.5 Ethical Standards

If the research involves human subjects, animals, or sensitive data, authors must indicate compliance with relevant ethical guidelines and institutional approvals.

2. Duties of Reviewers

2.1 Confidentiality

Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share or discuss them with others.

2.2 Objectivity and Fairness

Reviews must be conducted objectively without personal criticism of the authors. Comments should be clear, constructive, and supported by evidence.

2.3 Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should identify any relevant literature not cited by the authors and report any suspected plagiarism or duplication.

2.4 Conflict of Interest

Reviewers must decline the review if they have conflicts of interest with the manuscript or authors.

3. Duties of Editors

3.1 Publication Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts will be published based on their academic merit, relevance, originality, and contribution to the field.

3.2 Fair Evaluation

Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely based on intellectual content without discrimination based on gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or political beliefs.

3.3 Confidentiality

Editors must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the authorized parties.
